Expanded Duties Skills for Dental Assistants (EDDA)
This program is taught by a practicing and certified EDDA's, and provides dental assistants the knowledge and skills to perform expanded procedures such as taking final impressions and final restorations for patients under the supervision of a dentist. Various procedures are listed at right column.
For Covid-19 compliance, this class is capped at 4 students, with 1 instructor. All PPE is provided by ADAC. This class is extremely popular as EDDA's are in high demand.
Students must have a minimum of 1 year of chair side dental assisting experience in a general practice. All Endo and Perio students must still have 1 year of general experience.
As part of total $1850.00 tuition costs, all PPE, dental supplies, materials, equipment and hand pieces are provided by ADAC. But if student prefers to use their own personal setup they are welcome to bring one amalgam and composite instrument setup.
This class is also a great way to become a more valuable employee, earn more money and network within the dental industry!

Cindy's dental assisting career began in 1980 in New York City and has lived in Colorado since 1988. "The dental field has evolved in the past 40 years and it has been exciting to witness all the advancements. Continuing education has always made it possible to stay current and efficient at assisting". She is excited to be teaching and passing on the knowledge she has obtained over the past 3+ decades!
